This year, we bursted the bubbles and wanted to discover together how soap operas and digital games find each other.
Onsite
In the interactive exhibition, a total of +48 experimental and playful works from 18 countries could be discovered in the sections Core Exhibition, Focus Hamburg and Special Selection YoungPLAY.
PLAYvalley
The PLAYvalley was the digital festival location. Here, all streams could be followed and the on-site festival could be visited with cameras. The exhibition could not only be viewed, but parts of it could also be tried out directly. It was also a fantastic place to meet the team, the artists and other guests. Just open it in your browser (not on mobile phones/tablets), log in and go exploring alone or with friends! The PLAYvalley is always open. At 8 pm the PLAYnight started - THE meeting point for all online guests to exchange, play and listen to the evening program.
Creative Gaming Awards
In addition, the six games nominated for the Creative Gaming Awards could also be found in the exhibition. The Audience Award, which each work in the exhibition could receive, was voted on and awarded by the audience.
Guided tours were available upon request at Festival HQ (Well of Wisdom).
Every evening at 8pm in PLAYvalley:
The PLAYnight, in which you could meet the artists, play together or take part in the evening program.
